Welcome to the New Year
Welcome to the new year and thank you so much for continuing to support and check me out. It's been three years since being a personality on the radio and I know because people like to remind me. I have been doing my regular two-hour show mixes and hosting the Super Throwback Party music app and tending to my Klassic Joints free music apps you can download. I also continue as content director at The Vibe powered by KTSU-90.9 The Choice. Similarly, you can download the Vibe-Houston app. Besides that though, talking about today's whatever's and whatnot, nope, I have not been doing that.
Yes, I've continued the Madd Hatta Show podcast. It's poppin and YouTube is poppin but social media I'm not on religiously, but I'm on every now and again. If I have something to say or if I want to show you something I hold back and don't really get into the politics of today. I just watch things from afar.
Other than that, though, what I really wanted to say as we start 2023 is for those folks that do those new year resolutions. Let's drop that. Yeah, let's drop it. Let's just try to be better people. Every single day. You've come up with this incredible list of things you want to accomplish in 2023. I say just start immediately. Don't wait for this day. Don't wait for this weekend. Don't wait till blah, blah, blah. Just start immediately.
For example, if you want to lose weight...try cutting out some sugary drinks and start drinking water. Change small things in your diet. Institute more vegetables. You want to go to the gym but body shame yourself. Fine, run up and down your street and it's free. Just keep going till you build some confidence. You want to save money. Whenever you get paid, start by putting a small amount to the side and don't touch it, unless it's an emergency. I see people on social media saying don't put money into the bank. But until you build savings and pay off some bills, you do what's right for you!
Remember, the key with that money is to have it for when days get rainy.
Stop worrying about who's saying what and what's poppin' on social media. You focus on Y-O-U.
Thank you again for checking out the website and as a reminder keep tapping in with me. I plan on dropping a Greatest Hits album, 2 books and to continue rocking the podcast here.
I want you guys to be a part of the fun and the growth as we build/grow together every day trying to be better human beings. That's it. We just want to be better human beings, I want to be better. And we're all on this journey of being better human beings to gather.
You are awesome, you can do anything! So I encourage you to do that. I encourage you to subscribe to the YouTube page if you have not, to continue downloading the podcast. And finally, I want to take this time to thank you so much because I'm still growing again and you're still here with me.
We're all on this mission together. So thanks again and let's go 2023!
